I have 3 comet goldfish in a 15 gal tank & one has been hanging out on the bottom for a couple of days now. When I first put him in there, he was very lively and now... seems sad? I'm worried so any help would be great!!

-_-

Comet goldfish need a much bigger tank then that. As they get very long tails, and have a slender body. Comet goldfish also love to swim around and are very active.

The below portion was taken from the profile section here in the Types Of Goldfish...

The Comet

Description
Slender in body shape with a long single tail fin.

How long has this tank been set up and how long have you had all the fish in there? How large/long are the goldfish and does the tank have strong filtration in it? Do you have any test kits for ammonia, nitrites and nitrates so you can test the water quality of the tank with them?

It isnt good to keep them in such a small tank. I always believed that each goldfish should get at least 10 gallons. So that means that if you have 3 goldfish, then you need a 30-gallon tank. You should try putting him in a hospital tank where he can get some time alone and rest
