Tetra glow with goldfish. Will they survive?

They sell net mesh for the tops of ponds to help prevent predators, those would be a good start for keeping it safe from outdoor cats and dogs, at least a little bit. I'm sure there are other predator prevention techniques out there as well, perhaps some fencing for dogs with the net mesh.

Goldfish can handle into freezing temperatures, they're a Coldwater fish but they're also very hardy and will do fine with short term heat as well. Having it close to an entrance way in your yard may help deter some more skittish predators at least

Hey guys! A small update, not a great one, though.
So, I ve bought 2 more, getting to 4 tetras. At first, everything was great. Then I have noticed one not being well. Removed it (so it could MAY survive) but it died. That one was from the second purchase.
2 days ago, I saw one of the first two, not eating. Yesterday it was eating just really small pieces, and today it's gone.
Now, (although I'm not sure yet), I think that one of the remaining two is not eating like it used to. (I have to check again later).
I am thinking to take some actions. First of all, I took the old tank, I cleaned it from dust. (it was full for 2 weeks, to test it). Now I put a bottle of vinegar along with water.
Does it have to stay more than 1-2 hours with vinegar, so I can clean it? I am thinking of putting the remaining 2 in this tank, with a small filter, so I can check if they are eating well or not. should I do that? Or it will be more damage?
More on that, I may want to treat the main tank and the quarantine tank. I have omnipur, esha alx and melafix. Should I try with any of these? or wait and monitor? thanks in advance.
to give you a timeline, first ones were about 2 weeks in the tank, and the others, about 10-11 days.
