Cardinals mate in a big shoal they are amazing!

Jay

I don't think i have the right water conditions for them tbh. Every time i have tried to keep them in the past they haven't lasted much longer than a week. :( Shame really as their colouration is fantastic if you get good stock.

Yeah that is a shame mate. Sounds like you've just been unlucky as have seen people saying on here they are keeping them in ph's of up to 8! Really looking forward to seeing what you decide on!

Just been to look at some BA Tetra's... but they don't school for sh....!!!!!!! :grr:

So... Back to square one. Considering just upping my numbers of the Glowlights and Harlequins to something like 15 or 18? :/

Who knows... Maybe just rehome EVERYTHING and go for a group of Bosemani Rainbows?

agree, Cardinals do well in hard or soft IME.

That's all well and good, but like I said they just keel over on me. :( out of about 20 I have had 4 survive over a couple of ocassions. :/

May try again.

What about an island scape? Also, I'd be inclined to just up your harlequins - they're awesome in a big group. I wish I had enough room to have more in mine. You still craving blue?

How do I do an island scape? Lol.

Unsure on the blue, it would look good for sure though.

Harlequins and glowlights upto what then caz?

Cheers.

Are you keeping all 4 BNs? If you are then I'd go another 5 of each to start. If you're not then I'd say another 10 of each to start.

Island... (hope FishyWishie doesn't mind!)

Hmmm...interesting. I would need more/better wood to do that successfully i think though. But i could definately do it i reckon.

There is only 3 BN's that are probably around 2" atm. If there is more than one male then they will be rehomed.
