Oh, I thought all rams needed soft water. Learnt something new :good: Might actually consider them for my own tank now, as I love rams, but my water is so hard.

I'm sure someone who knows more about gouramis and bettas will come along. Will be watching with interest (as usual).

Oh, and I really need to sort out this signature thing sometime.

Bolivians would be perfect for you Emily. Or maybe Keyholes? :hey:

Honeys and Betta's should be fine, but there's always a chance things may not work out.

minnnt! Hiya! ;)

Great, now I've got a decision to make lol (on fish AND on what to order in for dinner tonight...this is far too stressful!)

You are my kinda girl lol - however, I am leaning towards a chicken parmo but I can't decide if I should get a mushroom or pepperoni one... :/

They also happen to come with chips so...how could I refuse lol

It's beginning to sound like "Hey Lovelies" around here haha

Who doesn't love a wittle hey lovelies in te mornin

Pepperoni, good choice! I am staaaaarving, waiting for the football to start and then I'll send the man out to get me my kebab :hyper:

I LOVE Bolivian Rams. :) They get lost in the shuffle too often because they aren't shiny like GBR's. Diamonds in the rough, for sure. They get LOVELY when they are older and start breeding. Mine were very yellowy and had none of the muffled dark markings in the at all then.

I just got 2 in today and they are juvies, but I know for sure one of them is male. Fingers crossed. :D

TBH, I would worry about gourmais with a betta. I have never has a honey gourami though only the larger ones, so don't take my word for it there.

What's chicken parmo?

I think they are a northern thing lol Parmo Wiki they come with all the salad and beetroot that you get with a kebab and then you get get different stuff added in, like pepperoni, it's disgusting stuff really hehe

There you are! You're not allowed to have a life ya know?

I think I have kind of settled on Bolivian Rams... *excited giggle* How many should I get for them to be happy?

If they are old enough you can pick a pair. IF the ones you find are juvies then you could either get a bunch until you can sex them, or do what I did and just get 2 and cross your fingers

I would say 2 or 3 would be a nice number. They get pretty chunky and are territorial when they get the "urges" :hey:

I'll probably wind up with 6 again in my 75g just cause I like them.

I officially have a male and female. I just got a good look at the other one. Woohoo!
