paint the back using acrylic or tempera paint. i painted mine black and put some tall plants in the back. there is zer reflection.

you could try a moss wall for your backdrop, that's what I am going to do to mine. I don't have enough moss yet but I will soon enough and all I have to do is cut some screening to fit the inside and place the moss in it and suction it to the glass... simple and elegant.
