A question of one of my favourite gouramis.

Grow to average 3 - 4 cm / 1.5 inches.

Typically have reddish or turquoise fins and body is black and can have white, yellow or silver horizontal stripes.

Originally from Malaysia and Singapore.
Although like many of my kind, now inhabit many areas of SE Asia.

What type of gourami is this?

Common and science name please.

(Sorry in advance if someone has posted a question of same specie of gourami

OK so this is a betta question, of course :D

Named after a Greek goddess, and of the cocchina complex, growing just over an inch. These do not show the lateral splotch as some others of the complex do.

Pretty sure it could be easy to figure out on just those parameters :)
