Ding Ding! We have a winner!! :D  Fishmatic, you nailed it. :)  They turn a gray color until they are fed live food again.

And I'm happy to admit I use the google to get some of the answers - can learn a lot that way.

Yes, there were multiple answers for my question-but the one I was looking for was the only one I was sure about. :)

This sea creature is among the longest living creatures in the sea.  It is sometimes captured as a food source and is desirable by many people.   It is found in North Atlantic ocean waters.  It grows sometimes larger than 45 mm in height.

not what I was thinking---remember, it's edible--dont think people eat jellyfish

ok I'll give it to you---I was looking for Ocean Quahog also known as  Black Clam, mahogany clam, mahogany quahog, or black quahog  but you're close enough.   The Ming Clam is an actual Ocean Quahog that lived to the ripe old age of 507 years old and was caught in 2006..  Here's a link to info on the Ming Clam:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ming_(clam)

Next question please..........

Wow, that's amazing. 507 year old animal... My mind can't comprehend it

Think I've seen it on Octonauts

Oh man... I was thinking of LONGEST sea creatures... not longest living!
