Ooh that's pretty :D

Is it a type of danio?

Celebes Ricefish? Oryzias celebensis

Craterocephalus stramineus occurs in clear, flowing streams, as well as in still water. Found in well-vegetated stream and lake margins. Forms moderate-sized shoals, swimming just below the surface. Feeds on insects and their larvae, small crustaceans, snails and some algae. Although attractive, they are delicate and usually difficult to maintain in captivity.

Australian. :p

Ahhhh bingo!! You got it DreamertK!!

That's so annoying... lol I was still going through all the small rainbows I could find as I wasn't convinced on the Ricefish thing but I know it wasn't one of the pseudomugil species and so was kinda stumped!

Yup, dreamer got it. I thought that'd be a hard one. Oh well, it had the rest of you poor fish-guessers head-scratching. :p
Aka the blackmast.

This variety of fish is very stunning! I had to choose a picture that wasn't as stunning to make it a bit harder though. ;)
