:D :D :D I love all the fish in my tank, I take my time when buying new fish as well. I hate losing a fish, and glad to say it does not happen often :D :D :D

However, the question to the forum is this:

Although, I love all my fish and if any of them die, it is pure anguish for me.
What is the fish in your tank, that if he/she would die you would just lose it? -_-

For me it is my Red tailed black shark, how bout u guys?

for me it was Duke, my pleco.
I was crushed when I found him but when we took him to lfs (I wanted to be sure he was disease free) one of the guys there picked him up and goes "Wow!!! it's a King Prawn plec!" then he started swinging him around by the tail. I know why the guy did it (since we usually mess around if I bring fish in) but I felt sick seeing him do that to my baby.. :-(

defintly my Red tailed black shark and my 8 inch plec <- but plec dont die for years weeeee :flex: and my 12 year old goldfish.

I'd say my plec as well, although that's a bit of a strange one, because I'm actually on my third plec now - I swap big for small at my LFS, when they start getting a bit clumsy. It's always been really horrible giving my big plec away, but at the same time I know it's for the best.

Our Jack Dempsey name, hahah, "Jack." :byebye:

Well, he didn't actually die. We had to give him up during one of our moves. We raised him from when he was just about 1/2 an inch long. He was huge and gorgeous by the time we had to put him up for adoption. Luckily, we found him a good home and the last we heard he has a massive tank all for himself and his gf. Still miss him though, and we still can't bring ourselves to get another jack since we know we'll be moving around so much. :(

Thankfully i've not lost a single fish yet (only had my tank 4 months hope i'm not temptin fate!
I think i'd be most sad to lose one of my clown loach..they keep me entertained for hours.

Meligold! He is a 2 year old feeder fish, and he is so cute, next to that, dilmah, his pal...

They have survived fin and tail rot, and are damn tough fish, I end up spending all my money on them, when they grew too big, I bought them a new tank...

Oh and my dwarf Gouramis, possibly because they cost $13 each... But they are also sooooo beautiful

Hi, :)

I just lost my two year old Rainbow/Ruby Shark a few weeks ago. He jumped out of the tank between a small space between the filter and the hood. I was so upset...I actually cried...as melodramatic as that may seem to some. It's funny how they become more than pets eh?

Anyway, I have a new Rainbow shark now and I love him to pieces. It would be him for sure.

My Royal Plec. I love sitting there watching him munch on the bogwood!! Very funny :D !! Plus he's my most expensive fish!!!!!!

i would be soo sad if my platinum gourami died.. hes sooo fun to watch play with my pleco and eat

If any of my fish passed on, I'd be torn. I'm attached to them all. But the one that I think I was attached to the most was my Brown Knife - I loved him, he looked like a Miniature Manatee. :( But I didn't have a big enough tank for him, so I had to pass him on to a bigger home.

As for the ones I have left, I've grown quite fond of them all...but currently I'm attached to my Mollies - they seem to interact with me the most, so there's more of a bond there.

my hardest was my dragon fish, i think because he escaped the tank and by the time i found him he was so dried up it didnt even look like him anymore. they really do walk on their fins and he made it all the way under the couch. The other hard one was my baloon molly. My 3 year old had named her peperina boony fish and she was so upset about it i couldn't help but be sad too.
