Fish deaths!

I'm always sad when a fish of mine dies as I love them all, but I think that if my Sailfin Plec Kirby died, I would be crushed. He's my favorite fish and getting more beautiful (and much bigger) every day. He's simply amazing.

I have a harder time when big fish die most of the time...I don't know why just do. When we had our big pacus, when they would go it was horrible, and the Oscars too. I think maybe just because you have them for so long. I had pacus for years and years and that's really sad. I don't like losing any though, I feel like I've failed my fishies in some way.

I don't know if I would lose it. Working at PETsMART and pulling dead fish twice a day kind of desensitized me. Back in the day I cried if my fish died, now I just get frustrated. But I'd probably be the most upset if one of my cories died. They're just so hardy and full of personality. My kitty would mourn as well. He loves to watch them.
