Finally know what my fish is!

Hi Guys,

I have not been on here for quite a while now.

The fish posted looks like a midas/red devil x with something else.

Regarding the tailess parrot, there are mutation to cause no tail and there are fish with the tails cut off.

Some people like the heart-shaped parrot that the demand was more then what the breeders can supply so, in order to meet the demand, breeders have to cut the tails. Its very easy to distinguish the differences between the two.

Attached is the koi parrot. I have them in a 180 gallon. Some range from 7-8" to 5". Sorry for the bad picture. I did not take that many pictures of them.

i dont think the picture you posted is the same as the one you have. i think its similiar though. the term "koi" is often used to describe fish that are marbled. so i dont think the term "koi" is significant in the identification
