My 2 foot tank which is fishless cycling at the moment which has a glass lid with no holes but just some gap for the cords to come through for the heater/filter is evaporating quite a lot not as in losing a lot of water but every day i look at it the glass lid is dripping and soaked in water and i cant even get the lid off properly without it drippin all over the place.. what can i do to decrease the amount of water on my lid? my temp is pretty high around 84-86 degrees. But just doing it to try and speed up the cycle a bit if it is possible. Should i just scrap the glass lid and make my own? or is there another way round this?

Tilt it, then the water will run off :)
Just put a small piece of something under one side and the water will roll off.

If it is hinged then just open the hinged part to let the warm air out and you should not have the condensation. When you lower the temp this shouldn't be such a concern. :)
