Dwarf Puffer And Shrimps

Well, it's been 6 weeks since I lost Little Pea. The other puffs were acting weird for a little while but they seem to have settled now. The tiny sesame seed sized puff that I posted back in April is now much bigger (I say bigger but she's still smaller than size of a grain of sweetcorn/maize) and I have introduced her to Little Pea's tank. She/he is actually Little Pea's only offspring.
Here comes Smartypants :D

Haha... you can come and fish them out yourself  They do move like Ninjas :ninja: :ninja: too

I love your pics. What kind of camera do you use?

Thanks Pika :D I use a Cannon IXUS 900Ti compact digital. I can just about use the very basic macro mode. I'm crap at adjusting any of the settings

LOL!

I hate catching shrimp! :(

Although... I have one male cherry in the 35gal.. and i was like. "im not even going to bother to try catching him to put in the 10gal", but then I saw him on the glass at the front.. and i was like "I have to!" lol.

He just let me scoop him up! I was like.... he knows he's going to a tank with 8 ladies!

The last pic is excellent, I got a few Ninja from Crews Hill also, they still call them blue tigers  , I hardly ever see them in my moss jungle, but they are cute little guys. Your plants are looking super healthy.

Thanks :D

Are they still labelling them as Blue Tigers? I've only told them twice that they were Ninjas  Did you say anything to them?

The Ninjas are quite interesting to watch. Very skittish little shrimps. I got 10 but I only ever see 3 or 4. Maybe some have died and the other shrimps have eaten the bodies but I don't know.

Hehehe....my plants look healthy because I only show you the healthy parts ;)  Lots of BBA and staghorn on the other side of the tank and my shrimps don't eat any of it :X

Yes I told them they were ninja and the guy said someone else told them that, as though you and I were both making the same mistake , They are tiny little guys, very nice though I have seen them today with nice colours, they looked so dull in the shop.
A bit of algae of any kind is good in a shrimp tank, even if they dont eat it they like what grows on it. I have been trying to cultivate good algae growth for the Sulawesis 13 hours of lights on seems to do the trick. :)

The Ninjas definitely look very uninteresting in the shop. Pretty colourless and absolutely tiny. The ones that come out in my tank have coloured up nicely and changing colours from time to time. Quite pleased that I bought them :) Shame that they don't breed in freshwater :/

Hehee... 13 hrs lighting is too long for my little puffs. They like their long bed time  Besides, I don't want any more algae than I have now

P.S. Liam, I would love to see your "high definition" Ninja pictures. They should look very nice :D

I'm braving a couple of my tank shots this time
