Thanks Sailfinman, I'm sure you can find more shrimp varieties in the US than here in the UK. Enjoy your trip to pets barn :D

Great looking shrimp too. I can never get a decent pic of mine. :grr:

Your puffer pics are super cute. I have no idea what species the non cherry shrimp are are they producing babies, I mean non larva type. They are cool looking shrimp, your willow moss is looking good.

Glad that you like the puffer pics :D
I have only two orange shrimps and both without saddles so I'm not sure what sex they are really. I did have a saddled one but she died after a half-moult :-( . I might get a few more if I see them on my next visit to LFS. They are slightly larger than the cherries. Will let you know if they become berried :D

More not so clear pictures :D

Thats a great looking Cherry in the third pic. :good:

I would be too paranoid to keep the shrimp with a puffer but I'm glad its working for you.

Thanks :D

The combination has been working so far and I still see a number of babies of various sizes around the tank. All the adults and juvies have all their legs and antennae intact. However, (shrimp lovers look away) I know the puffers love the shrimplets because they get hyper when they spot a newborn shrimp. It's not a problem for me since the cherries are breeding continuously. I wouldn't keep CRS with my puffers though seeing how cute they look when newborn

They are Super Cute

I have around 20 in the 200 Gallon.
They Love exploring.
No aggression towards any tother fish. And they each have little cliques that they swim around with.

I love watching them look at something in the tank or stalking a snail.
The look of concentration on the ickle ickle faces is pricless.

Thanks Gill. I'm watching with great interest on how your DPs develop in such a massive tank. They must think that they're back to their natural home :D

P.S. I lost Little Pea this morning and I'm still extremely upset :-( :-( - as posted in the oddball section
