Cut My Tank Into The Wall Today

well cut the tank into the wall this aft, took about 2hrs to do so not to bad, always helps when you have a willing dad who knows his stuff.

all thats left now is to do a little bit of polyfilling or i put a picture frame style trim around the tank.

So you cut a whole through the wall, looks good but i bet it wobbles about a bit now as you haven't tied in the three vertical studs that you have cut. Is it a timber framed house or is that just an extra wall that was put in after the house was built? If its the former I would be taking a look and checking that that wall isn't picking up any floor joist from above or is that the bottom of a staircase I can see?

Not trying to be down on you, I like that look of what you've done, just double check the structure above.
