Lots of young adults around here are still breaking the laws regarding social distancing. Two nights ago I went for my walk and saw a group of young adults getting stoned in their car in a carpark. A few days before that and there were two parties in my neighbourhood, both had lots of cars on their front lawns. Security guards and staff at some shopping centres haven't complied with the laws at all and are regularly seen standing next to each other chatting.
I have only been going to the shops about once a week lately due to lack of cleaning products that I need to clean up after I get home. When I go to the shops I don't see many, if any people wearing masks. I have seen a couple of old people wearing home made masks like a bandana and I saw one lady wearing a proper mask while she was waiting at the chemist (pharmacist) for something.
As far as stores opening around here, the stores that have been open during this pandemic have remained open and everything else is still shut. Most of the bigger stores have closed earlier than normal to supposedly give them more time to clean and stock shelves.
Overall, apart from not being able to buy stuff and doing a little more disinfecting when I get home, my life is still the same as it was before this started. If anything, I like the restrictions and lack of people and traffic out in public and the air is noticeably cleaner with less dust.
