Coronavirus...post your thoughts here...

Be careful with that, I had took it for over two months owing to back problems and I ended up with symptoms of anemia which meant I was very low on iron and could barely breath any oxygen in the air, it took me an entire 10 of stuffing my face with a pack of pate everyday and eating steak pastry slices for lunch to get enough iron to be back to normal.

Yeah, yet more pictures of Boris and another cheese and wine party, no wonder he as a belly..
Definitely have to be careful. After 2 weeks I'm going to request different medication if I'm still afflicted. I read through the side effects and potential issues like 😬

Yes well I know the list of side effects are literally as long as your arm however when I had three slipped discs at the bottom of my back and was in bed for two months you forget the list of font size 8 as long as your arm...

I first realised there was something wrong with me when I was getting better (after two months in bed) and I was feeling tired at 2pm despite having recalled a decent night sleep which is hard to do with a bad back..I had like three coffees for no good reason to keep me up.

Anyway, after I returned to work I was mentally exhausted by 12pm and driving was weird. I had a scheduled blood test and so took it and it showed I had low levels of iron thus I ended up buying iron tables upon my drive home (luckily the pharmacist was capable of reading the results and thus shows me the iron tables) and ate an entire pack of pate every day (this was like 7cm wide, 1cm thick and about15 cm long) and steak n kidney slices for lunch and it took 7 days just to start feeling normal again, it took another 7 to be totally normal.

I dont even know what that stuff did s I only felt good after taking the paracetamol codeine medication...

Western Australia has 2 new cases of covid. This is stupid considering our borders are closed. Apparently the cases are from people who flew to WA from Queensland.

Why are we allowing people into out state when there are outbreaks in other states?
Who knows.

Well the omnicron variant is spreading alarming fast. Anyone hear any more decent news on the origin of this virus? Did you guys watch that video I posted about a couple of months back showing Chine bought in PCR testing equipment at an enhanced rate pre-pandemic?

In Australia, omicron is taking off.

New South Wales had 3000+ new cases 2 days ago. Yesterday they had over 5000 new cases.

Victoria isn't much better and it is spreading rapidly there. They are allowing sporting events to go ahead and there is meant to be 80,000 people at the cricket on boxing day. Fuplie idiots.

South Australia had 482 new cases yesterday.

Queensland had 369 new cases yesterday. The government there is encouraging the spread of it because of the holiday period and they want everyone to be exposed to it before school goes back next year. At the current rate of spread they expect 1000s of new infections each day, by the end of the year.

Tasmania had 26 new cases yesterday and most were people from New South Wales.

Western Australia, Perth and Peel Region is in lock down apparently from 6pm yesterday but there was nothing on the news so I don't know when that was instigated. Masks are required indoors and there are lots of hot spots and thousands of possible close contacts.

I don't particularly want to catch another virus. I just got over one that I caught in early November and have only just been able to get up and walk around again during the last week.

Much about the new Covid antiviral drug by Pfizer over here in the US. Most effective when used early. Think one needs to be >60 or have an underlaying condition. Hope it’s available where you are or will be soon. Believe another pharmaceutical company , Merck, is about to come out with a similar drug. Think it’s 5 days of pills that is proving to be remarkably effective in preventing serious illness & worse.

120,000 new cases in the UK today, up 53% in a week 😖
Data so far here suggests that we are 70% less likely to be hospitalised from Omicron than from Delta.
Deaths are slightly down but of course deaths are a few weeks behind cases.

Running through our house right now. Pretty much like a cold (duh, it's a Coronavirus). Runny nose, sore throat, mild fever, fatigue. For us as a whole, probably less effects than the 'vaccines'.

Here in US cases are sykrocketing...today alone we had
251,000 new cases
1088 new deaths
0.43% Death rate*. How does this compare with seasonal flu?

* - Not adjusting for delay between reported cases and deaths, which would likely make the death rate lower.
