I’m already sick of the entire thing. I was reading on the Swine Flu today and it affected nearly 61 million people in the U.S. and it killed 12,469 people here. Worldwide it killed 575,400. Government kept it quiet for months and we weren’t even aware of the pandemic for months. Why is it so blown up this time? What’s the difference?

This has been going on for 6 months already. It started in October last year (possibly earlier) and took 3 months before the world found out about it.

There's also pressure from people and the press who bring this to light and that makes it harder for the government to hide.

The leader of japan says the Olympic will still take place in Japan. (Which is stupid IMO)

President Trump recommended they postpone it for another year, which I know won’t go through. It is a good idea though.

There are now 12 confirmed cases in Kentucky. (Where I live. )

The Olympics aren't until July. They are hoping by then it will be contained. At that time they can reassess and if situation is still bad, it is possible they will postpone or cancel it.

Galveston Health Department just said that if a person doesn’t cooperate with self quarantine, then they can be subject to prosecution. Wow!

Thank you Deanasue. She's 14. the UK are no longer testing for Corona outside of hospitals so we may never know. She also has asthma.
