Coronavirus...post your thoughts here...

Yeah the governments should just give everyone a 1 month holiday and tell them to stay at home. Government paid holiday for everyone.

That would be nice but would not work out, you still need people to work. Emergency services, doctors, some one to bring in food and goods, someone to stock the shelves and keep open the grocery store and so forth. But you could have people in nonessential jobs stay home.

Does anyone else think it’s funny that this thread has 19 pages?

By the way I went to Walmart yesterday, and there was no sanitizer or rubbing alcohol. They even had a sign that said, “We are all sold out of sanitizer, sorry for the inconvenience.” They were also all sold out of toilet paper. Good thing I snatched the last pack! :hey:

Hi,

Just thought I'd utilise the popularity of this thread to remind people I have a YouTube Channel lol

I need more members and more views!

Also I'd suggest you buy a bidet!

Boston Marathon has been postponed to a much later date...perhaps even September or October. Major league baseball season has been postponed. Large gatherings are being cancelled or postponed. Stock market dropped 10% today. Hope things turn around in the near future and Coronovirus stops spreading but nobody knows. Till it does recede, the economy looks to continue a downward spiral.

An employee of my dads family member died the other day of it. All of the schools in my area are closed at least to the end of April. Any churches or other meetings over 250 people are not able to meet, and smaller groups have to check temps at the door and guarantee people will stay 6 feet apart

This week is Spring Break here but they are extending it another week.

I’m already sick of the entire thing. I was reading on the Swine Flu today and it affected nearly 61 million people in the U.S. and it killed 12,469 people here. Worldwide it killed 575,400. Government kept it quiet for months and we weren’t even aware of the pandemic for months. Why is it so blown up this time? What’s the difference?

But social media, Facebook, was around for years before the Swine Flu. Government was less transparent though. The President had only been in office for a year and no one wanted to rock the boat. The point here is that we are going through the same thing now but the media is taking it to another level. Very sad because it’s hurting our economy.

If anybody wants to I would suggest going to YouTube and watching Peak Prosperity his videos on this topic are very factual and not panicked.

If you do watch his videos, please realize that some of his videos on the subject are days old so statistics are already old in this quickly spreading virus. And some of his statements may be his opinion...so keep an open mind and refer to proven reputable sites. I watch CNN for the latest CV news and also go to their website to read up on latest facts. To see how the CV is affecting our economy and our stock market, I watch CNBC. I use Yahoo Finance to follow the stock market.
