Every country's economy is going to suffer from this virus but people have to learn that money is not the answer to everything and the world's economy is wrong. Every country is trying to expand continuously and you can't do that. Eventually you run out of resources and the system collapses. But the revenues of the teams drop , the work force for the stadium including vendors and security do not work and may lose wages, ... the local economy loses out as nearby restaurants who would cater to pre-game and post-game diners who would have gone to the game lose income.
What would you prefer, a good economy with lots of contaminated people spreading the virus, followed by a major crash in the economy and possible break down of society when everyone gets sick; or a drop in the economy for 6 months or so while people stay home and try to avoid spreading the virus?
The lesser of two evils is where the economy can drop for a while and we all stay home until this has run its course. The economy can be rebuilt and with any luck, the boffins in the government might realise we have to change the world's economy to a different system that is more stable and better for the long term future of the planet. And by long term future I mean the next 1000 years, not the next 3-4 years while they are in government.

For anyone getting their groceries delivered, disinfect them when you get them. You don't know if the person who picked your groceries is contaminated. If they are, they can put the virus on your groceries.
