Before she knew me the only interest she had in fish was if they were served on a plate...........now I even have her doing water changes for me

I still haven't reached the point of the hubby doing tank maintenance. He is helping plan the Malawi tank though....Baby steps lol

Not counting my chickens just yet, but 'if' I have a good number I will select a couple of the best to keep for myself, and the rest sold or swapped for other fish. My friend at the fish farm wants them

12 hours in now and Mum has been on constant egg watch. Dad, is kicking back on the sofa and snacking on Tetra Bits. He is like, "my work is done here"

Anyway, everything looks good for now. I am doing smaller, but more frequent water changes, because I don't want to drop the water level below the egg line. I should be able to see if the eggs are fertilized in about 12 hours from now, and if so would expect them to start hatching in about 36-48 hours time. I can only see 2 bad eggs out of them all just now, so that's a very good sign
