They are being very lazy! I am surprised, as they were really showing signs of spawning, so I am not really sure why they are now just hanging out. I have to fly to Sri Lanka for 5 days work, so will leave them with my girlfriend and see if she can induce some fishy love with her girly pheromones

I'll be back on Tuesday, and if nothing has happened I will revert to using some of the tricks I used before as breeding triggers. I promise not to give up!

Oh dear, oh dear.........

So here's what has happened..... I had to head over to Sri Lanka for 5 days work, so my girlfriend said she would take care of the fish. However, she didn't think that the couple I had together were good, and she wanted the original Pigeon Bloods back together. I wasn't convinced, but I was not about to argue so I did as she wanted and switched them around, just before I departed 2 days ago.

And guess what! She just sent me a photo of her batch of eggs, all smug with herself! I will never live it down

Must be lady luck and girly pheromones

Actually good timing as I will be back Tuesday morning, and fingers crossed that the coming fry will free swimming Wednesday or Thursday.

However, she didn't think that the couple I had together were good, and she wanted the original Pigeon Bloods back together.
