Hi guys.

Just need a bit of advice please.
I've recently bought 3 small blue lobsters and have been feeding them on flake, bloodworm, mussels and other bits.
I was wondering, does anyone know how often should i feed them and what would be the best to feed them on a regular basis?
I have a different 4ft tropical tank with various fish and i feed them once in the morning and once at tea time but i'm not 100% sure how often to feed the lobsters?
Any advice would be appreciated thanks.

You can feed them once a day. My suggestion is to do it early in the day and scatter it so they can hunt it down and pick on it throughout the day.

Not sure how big the tank is but these guys do fight with each other if they don't have room. Personally a 6' tank would be best for 3 of them in my opinion.

Thank you.
I'll be upgrading soon. At the moment they are around5 inches long and i have them in a 90 litre tank.
I'm not too sure whether to put them in my 4ft tropical tank and if it would cause upset as i have the tank perfect now with no aggressive fish and everyone gets on well together.

Don't put them in the tropical they will eat your fish while they sleep. Also if all three are in the same 90L tank then expect one or two of them to die when they moult. They become very soft and easy for even small fish to kill.

As for feeding, I feed my blue crayfish once every two days and mix it between a few things, sinking shrimp pellets, flake, peas, cucumber without the skin, blood worms and a few others that she seems to like.

Hope that helps

One of them moulted last night which i forgot they did and panicked when i saw claws and bits of body everywhere today!!
They all seem fine together for now as there is plenty of hiding spaces in the coral rock and i have a large hotel ornament which they seem to love and it hilarious watching them suddenly emerge through one of the windows or the door way!!
Cheers guys.
