Well been as its been ages...
i have decided to keep the tank now, after really considering selling up these last few weeks. i think i will start with the corals i have already, loads of zoas and a few montis. nothing too time consuming at first. it will be a long stocking process too.
But i actually did some work on it today. found some motivation too. been really frustrating looking at an empty tank feeling like theres a ton of work still to be done.
Il start with a few pics of some reef bones i got just before Christmas. i should really start curing these but i have no idea where to put them!

All these will hopefully make up the main chunk of my scape, ive still got all of my live rocks too from old tanks.
I didnt really want to have to have brace bars across the tank as i was planning to use a single 400W lumenarc with a few T5s and some LEDS later on. So i got a stainless steel brace welded up. I will hammerite it later, bit its a good fit! Please excuse the state of the room i am not a tidy worker!
Again, attacked some CLS to the wall to have the frame on later too.

large lumenarc (ugly thing
) 400W BLV nepturion 14k all connected to a coralvue electronic ballast. D-D razor twin T5s for the front. Going to add some aqua rays to either edge later. then i can do like a sun up sun down lighting cycle hitting full power in the middle
Fired up, Bright enough?
Vortechs stuck on one end, dont know if il do it like this for waves or one at each end for random flow yet?
should be enough flow
can see where weir will be on this one too

Few plumbing bits and bobs, car keys to show size of ball valves anyone mentions the sheffield united key ring and current league position will be banned
