Thanks seffie. Im quitw happy with the list. Il try my best to stick to it aswel. The pics are crap though. Looks far better in real life. Wish i could take decent pics / had a decent camera Doesnt show off any depth. Looks very flat imo

Hi everyone. About 3 weeks in with no fish now. Tha algae off the backs about gone. The front panel hasnt been cleaned for over a week though, i dont want to. The tanks is crawling wiht pods. The front glass is literally covered in them so i dont want to scrub it and kill them. Think im going to order my Vortech or polario 2200 next week :hyper:

My halide went pop in a mini storm we had the other day. The bit have been ordered but im a tad worried about my corals. They are just under three T8 tubes at the min but its a deep tank. They quoted be 7-10 days del on the new bits :(

Ive been speaking to someone about the new pumps, and the vortech apparently comes with a small cover that will keep anenomes away so im leaning towards this pump and adding a rbta to my list. If it doesnt il use one of those pond baskets over it.

Ocellaris Clown Fish x2 ♂ ♀
Kole Tang
Mccosker's Flasher Wrasse x 3 ♂ ♀ ♀
Exquisite Fairy Wrasse
Tail spot blenny
bartlets anthia
flame back angel / potters angel

This was my fish list a few weeks ago. Im adding one mandarin (not spotted) and 5 x Ghost cardinals to the list. Oh yeah, and it will be a potters angel.

June the 28th is the final day if its a 8 week fallow period!

8-10 days under T8 will certainly leave to corals in a strop afterwards. Put the light back on slowly and keep water stats good and someone of your experience should be able to pull them round mind :good:

With my experience with "nem safe" Tunze pumps, I'd modify the guards on any pump with foam or a larger intake strainer on any pump if you are still eyeing up nems :good:

The scape is looking good in those last pics, very nice

All the best

iv managed to fix the halide today :) So the corals have only been without their big light for a few days.

Cheers rabbut. Im still throwing pump plans around in my head....drivin me nuts

getting my new pump tomorow.

Decided against the vortech, i intended to go in on the bulk by over on UR but i missed it. Then The cheapest alternative decided to put its prices up as soon as the bulk buy finnishes and their name gets mentioned to those people who missed out. Kind of p1ssed me off!

So been as i refused to buy the vortec from that site and refuse to pay over the odds for it else where ive opted for a wave pollario 22000.

If i leave it on full wack it will give me something like a silly 75X turnover.
:D

That would be good for the higher-flow nems out there and any SPS you no doubt are eyeing up now you have big halide lighting on it :hyper: Of cause, when you do get it, we'll need full Photo up-dates or even some video of it in action :shifty:

All the best
Rabbut

due 2moro on next day delivery :good:
Im going to have a re-skape and a good clean out before it goes in too.
When i can afford too il think im going to switch to a 400w halide in a luminarc reflector too.

Give us a review on the Polario when its up and running Ben.
The Luminarc would be a good move too

i will do colin, il take you some vids etc. Unfortunatley its a fair bit bigger than the vortech, just got pissed off with that this morning though

i know...i was leaning towards the vortech because its a fair bit smaller. But that made it like 75 quid more than what ive ordered. Was expensive enough before that

Shud be some new piccies for you 2moz tho
