in picture 2 and 3 is a discus very expensive fish from £40-60 usually yeah they dont travel well but i dont think this one will make it!

You know what id do with such pet shop keepers ... id teke all stock out (the one which is still alive) and burn their shop. I hate people like this why be in the field of somethink that you dont care about! Sorry im just angry and cant believe that such people have licence to sell live stock! REPORT THE OWNER! Discus

My God, as soon as I saw the first pic, I recognised the place. Last time I bought plants from there (big mistake) I had a snail infestation. I don't buy fish anymore from there. How far are you from Shirley Aquatics, I've not bought from there but like to window shop.

Maidenhead Aquatics in earlswood is better

I am closer to Shirley Aquatics than Evesham but just thought i would try it! Shirley is a good place think I will end up buying my fish from there..... but I went there today and they had the same Betta's still in bags floating in tanks as they did last week! The same one's not new, so i think they just leave them in there until they sell?

They were celebrating 70 years anniversary today!

Yeah this is a great place although alot more expensive than everywhere else, but you sometimes get what you pay for, the guy there don't really know what he is talking about as he said, just put all of this cycle stuff in your tank and then pop your fish in

I think the best place where they really care about fish is The Reef in Catshill - Bromsgrove, Richard there seems to know his stuff, I will be having a chat to him about Goll's Evesham! All his friends are animal right activists. There just is not enough choice there but he will get anything you ask for, and then he won't sell them to you for 2 weeks.

A friend of mine went to Shirley Aquatics this weekend and made the comment that he had seen quite a few dead fish? What's happening? I recently went to the one in Henley on Arden, very expensive, the fish looked healthy though. Yep there are quite a few fish lover's in this part of the UK.

I think i have been to the henley on arden one, on the left up a hill, its a garden centre too? Nice place, thats where they had the telephone box as a fish tank? They were still sorting everything out when i went there so was a mess lol.

Wonder if we are on about the same one?

Abso correct, I work in Bearley so I nipped in one lunchtime to have a look, dodgy exit though, you need your wits about you when leaving the place.

I found the earlswood one cheaper than shirley by far?. But yes i have to admite the bloke that works there is useless to say the least lol.

Also there fish are much healthier, btw shirley yes are having the 70th aniversary and also have slected fish at 10p each now thats a bargain if i ever did see one lol.

maiden head in stratford is superb if u fancy and trip down there and the bloke in there really oes know what he's talking about when it comes to fish...especially plecs

They have more offers than shirley ...3 for £ .....6 for £ and so on.... and no ive traveled pretty much the midlands for different petshops lol somethink of a past time for us

sterbai at MA are around £5 they are £4.50 at shirley for smaller
panda at shirley are last time i looked £4 maiden head tank bred £3 somethink i presume wild caught £5.25 ish

aint got a clue where the £9 for sterbai has come from lol but they definitley arnt that price at MA


LOL im also up there the weekend aswell nice to have a browse once in a while lol

if i remeber rightly the sterbai at MA were 3 for £10 last time i looked
