Just been thinking, as I have a fluval edge and I've upgraded the normal halogen bulbs to LED's in that, would it be possible to add something similar to my vision 180 and would it be effective?
I've just had a bit of a move around in there and I've created a bit of a cave area, but it seems like its not really getting enough light to it. Has anyone else used LED's to give their tank lighting a bit more oomph? I also find the bright white LED's bring out the colours of the fish more. I'm not really bothered about a night lighting theme as I prefer to sleep in pitch black (tanks in my room) but wouldn't mind the tank being a bit brighter.
Any help, links to decent LED sites would be much appreciated.
