Aqua One Windsor 66

Hi

Saw one of these today and thought it looked pretty good. Before committing to that amount of money was wondering if anyone has one or knows anything about them and what they think of them etc - we may possibly think about going marine in the future too so does this look like a suitable tank?

not sure about that particular tank but i have two Aquaone tanks and i have no problems, generally very good tanks.

Very nice tank and cabinet. I have the AquaOne 850 but it has a very different filter system than the Windsor. Basically I find the whole range of AquaOne tanks very handsome and, although not having quite the Juwel quality, good value. More interesting too I think (my opinion)

i currently have three aqua one tanks i think they are very good not sure about the windsor or suitability for marine though.


i was thinking of going marine with a plain 48" tank

The Windsor 66 comes with external canister filter and there is definately room for adding a protein skimmer - I think I'm going to have a chat to the people in the marine section of the fish shop - thing is, this tank looks great, is the size we were looking for (and we wanted something in the corner) and the price isn't bad compared to many others the same size - most of which I think don't look as nice. The Windsor looks like a piece of proper furniture rather than a DIY flat pack fake wood thing like a lot of them do!!

There does seem to be room for more lighting in the hood - the website specifically says you can replace the tubes lights with halides. Hmmm...
