I know im playing devils advocate and all...I dont think this is good at all either its jsut that u really cant say stuff like this about humans because no matter how well we treat our fish...its still not as much room or freedom in the wild.Imagine never being able to leave your small apartment except every once in a while when u stop breathing and get dropped somewhere else when u are sick or get a little too big. sorry i might get a little hate from this but i dont like analogies like that.

i know the dogs are probably a fashion thing but i dotn think they are really being abused.

ghostknife-of course this is a selfish hobby we have but at least most of us take care of our fish to the best of our abilities. those purses are pure cruelty though-no one can argue with that. the betta will die within a day or two. in an aquarium, they will live 2 years or so. probably longer than in the wild even.

here are some posts from members of another forum. i asked them what i missed (cause im not sure how they got that) but i didnt get a response.

I always considered Faith from BEttatalk a responsible betta person. After all she breeds a ton of them, and doesn't sell them cheap. She does have a big mouth sometimes, and some of her view is a bit weird. What on earth was she thinking with those purses then?

It just now clicked in for me that Faith from Bettatalk is behind the bags.
I had heard some negative things about her, but I would never expect this.
