And you thought the vases were bad!

It's really sad to see what some people will do for money. That is just pathetic and I hope she realizes what a awful mistake she's making.

I just emailed her too. I bet she gets emails in spurts whenever this comes up on a forum. I asked her if she would make a car with a clear panel so that I could have a puupy live in there.
dont give her any ideas!

Unbelievable.

I'm afraid she is just going to respond to you guys (if at all) saying what she said here:

"Due to their human like lung, Betta Fish are able to live in a filter-less environment and are completely content in small areas. Suprisingly, the fish feels very little to no movement when the bag is in motion due to the unique design of Bubble Gear. Every safety precaution has been considered during the testing of our product line to ensure the comfort, safety and quality of life for your Betta fish. Although the miniature fish tank is more than 5 times larger than that of the average pet shop container, we do recommend keeping a larger bowl at home for your fish so he can stretch his fins when not on the go in his Bubble Gear bag!"

All I have to say to that is.... BS.

OMG.....Did you read the home page...she says that people can take them to a night club??

"A small LED illumination accessory is included to light up the tank at night or in dark environments such as night clubs or restaurants!"

Im sorry but surley the noise and vibration would cause immense stress for the fish :(

i think i may just give this lady a visit, and if maybe she ends up in an "accident" there wont be a problem anymore :shifty: :flex:

if no one sees her evr again or heres from her............. lets just say she tripped and fell into the pool and she couldnt swim because theres was a chain with a huge metal ball caught to her leg.

Cruella de Ville of the modern day. Putting fashion before the animals !!
I think if i saw anybody with one of those bags I would be having extremely strong words with them!! Somebody needs to design a shrinking ray so we could shrink her and put her in a cage in our handbags and call it "b*$@h box gear" (i apologise for my swearing)

Yeah, shes on my hit list too, actually, freaking wench.

Vases are so much more humane... at least you can take care of a Betta in a vase if done properly... Arrrg.

*screams*

I go on quite a few forums At the moment i have half the world sending her emails, If that passes for fashion now I guess I'm out of style. I'm sure she has a bonsai kitty in a bottle at home also.one sad FEMALE....sorry all females on here i know she states the bag don't come with fish, thats hopefully because know one would give them away to her...........

Just wrote to Practical fish magazine to bring it to their attention so they can warn people of such products !! Maybe you Americans can contact your magazines as well they might know of a way of stopping this cruelty!! What do you think is that a good idea?

Why don't we inform the people that SUPPORTED her product about the abuse this really is?

Bet.com is a good place to start. Why don't we send half the world over there too? Maybe they will get the point.

There, I sent an email to 106 and Park about the interview they had on May 28 about the bags.

I was polite and informed them more about Betta Splendens and why the bags were abusive. Probably nothing will come of it, but maybe we'll get lucky.

I have my doubts, but eh. Its always worth a try.

Ms. Howard has been an entrepreneur for nearly ten years, with accomplishments including owning and operating two retail stores, creating a line of 3-D giftwrap, holding the title of Marketing Director at a large development company, organizing a celebrity auction for Volkswagen, promoting a Ray Charles concert and she has even been featured in the New York Times.

Lets see if we cant get her featured in the new york time again for what she is a very sad person............. :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:
