Unfortunatly i fund out that i cant keep pleccos if i am keeping a planted tank as the pleccos will eat them...

Well i guess i will have to make another tank just for pleccos

Not really. There are many plecos that you could have that wouldnt eat your plants and also plants that you can have that plecos wont eat.

In my tank I have a gold nugget, mango, pair of albino bristlnoses, pair of whiptails and a red fin dwarf pl*co and none eat plants.They will however eat plants that are already dying.
