Got my vote for the sloping Hairgrass and CPD's, the CPD's would happily breed in there too and they're not cheap so have a word with your lfs when you pick them up. Mine bred so fast in my planted tank that had carpet plants and got rid of so many to my lfs it paid for the original CPD's and some extra store credit.

Looks great tho mate, really impressed with this.

Thanks guys, I will cut the hg right back when im off work monday. i'll also have a word with my lfs and see if they have any in stock if not i'll see ifthey will order some in.

Very good tank.I'm looking to go for a iwagumi in my next project and yours looks really nice.
Shame about the confusion between eliocharis parvula and acicularis. I think parvula at the front and acicularis more at the back would look wonderfull and the trouble of trimming it to size would be less.
Keep updating.

Yea I agree it's a big shame I made that mistake, I have considered moving all the EP to the back and buying more EA for the front but it would be messy and iv decided to just leave It be. Will be giving it a good trim later and I want to get some fish and/or shrimp in there soon !

Tank has been shut down, plants sold and rocks removed. I will keep the ADA soil in the tank and dry it out so I can just re-use this tank again in the future.

I shut it down to make way for a new project, I have got a ADA 60-P + full ADA substrate system coming wednesday plus a custom build LED light unit from Ps3Steveo and I will be building a ADA style cabinet (because £250 for a cabinet is a rip off when I can build one the same spec and look for about £50)

If you don't fancy building a cabinet, have a look at the TMC signature cabinets, they are cheap and great quality...I have mine with a 60 coming Wednesday as well.
