You have some pretty interesting goldfish there alasse :D

Yep, love em.

So the tank is now stocked with
2x Pearlscale
1x Oranda

1x Black Moor
1x Ryukin

Wait, that last goldie is supposed to look like that? Wow, very interesting.
And Eragon is gorgeous! *jealous Never seen the coloring like that on a goldfish before.

Yep that is how its meant to look :) It's a pearlscale. The little yellow gold one in this tank will grow to look the same :)

Yeah Eragon is a looker for sure

Thank you:)

The goldies cloud it up at food time lol They go psycho shuffling the sand, the filter soon clears it back up though. I have had to put fine filter wool into the canister, and it will need to be changed every 2 weeks i am betting.

Thank you :)

Eragon is a beauty for sure, hope the colouring stays

Will be pulling this down and rescaping today, so stay tuned for the new look

I ended up leaving enough water in it to keep the goldies fully wet. Boy oh boy did the cherry shrimp multiply lol Darn things were absolutely everywhere. So when i pulled the decor the goldies were like little piranhas lol, i nabbed most of the berries females and chucked in with the peps, but anything not smart or quick enough will be goldie dinner!

Took all the plants and dumped em in the bath with hot water (err the odd cooked shrimp appeared), scrubbed em up....looking much better

So everything is now back in, heater back on to warm the tank back up (90%WC). Pulled canister apart and gave media a rinse, replaced filter wool with a filter pad. Just giving the canister a little bit to clean up the mess i made lol Then i'll grab a new pic

Alasse how are you finding the artificial plants maintenance-wise?  Is it a lot of work to keep them clean?

1st time i've cleaned em since i set the tank up, and i only really had to do it because i had a light timer go and it left the lights on 24/7 and i didnt realise til the algae appeared and alarms bells went off in my head lol

I just chuck em in the bath with hot water, arm myself with a toothbrush and run over them, pretty easy
