4Ft (286Litre) 'planted' Tank

Tank all clean....OMG the canister was feral, and i mean feral lol
 
Goldies havent moved back in yet, just gotta let the tank warm up a little bit

Underestimated how many bristlenose are in there too lol There is 5 peps and 2 common, and they are growing like weeds

This tank is currently draining and the goldies have temp moved into the tank underneath this one while i shuffle tanks.
 
This is heading back to a planted tank, and will become home for the current residents of the 5ft
 
I have the litter and prop sand to do the DIY substrate....and i will be capping it with the pool filter sand

Sadly Gary the snail has passed away. Also very sadly found Sparrow passed away, no signs of injury or disease. He was out acting normally and had dinner last night, so i dont know what happened to him Unless he ate Gary and it didnt do him any good (Gary's shell is empty)

Update, tank is scaped (as best i can with the few plants i had, it will need more!) and angels, cories, BGK, gouramis, tetras have moved in

He was very very squat for a ryukin, he may have had internal issues also, He may have also got himself into a place with his body type he just could not get out of.....too many what ifs i'm afraid

All the other goldies & BN are their normal selves, hungry and active. I just dont know. Water tested within normal ranges for their tank.

The tank has cleared beautifully overnight.....once lights come on tonight i'll grab a pic

Sorry to hear that you lost a fish, I know what it feels like when I lost my Betta like that, Everything was normal, He had his dinner next morning I found him dead in his sleeping spot.

Im really sorry about Gary & Sparrow Hope everyone is settling in well.

The tank is no longer planted, and i will be removing the planted substrate. I am selling the angels & black widow tetras. Diablo the BGK will be the only one staying. Currently the tank is being used to hold the fish that are for sale and a ton of common and albino fry (they are in there to grow out)
 
So this tank will change once the fish are sold

I'll be hopefully redoing this tank today. I've decided to plant it again after all, as i have a tonne of plants that need somewhere to go lol
 
First i need to change the light tubes. The angels will be moving to a temp home, i need to decide if they are going or staying lol But a new planted tank they will not be welcome for a few weeks while it settles.
 
I will be redoing the substate, using some of the mix from the 6ft. Will take a few days to finish up

Well this tank is mostly empty with just a bit of water and substrate left. All will be removed tomorrow, substrate redone (not quite so deep), then planted.
 
The angels are in a temporary tank, along with the heaps of BN and some tiger barbs and tetras
