3,500 gallon tank - what to put in?!

Sorry but this has killed me:

A tank that big, how the heck are you gonna put it in your house, find a big enough stand and make it not look out of place?

I would go for arowannas and stingrays with some or maybe a couple hundred of african cichlid. What i meant bt arowanna i ment a school :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

some sort of biotope. i'd be torn between Amazon, African Riverine, or a Lake Tanganyika (with Mbu puffers of course!) B)

whatever you pick, you'll probably want to use playsand for the substrate; can you imagine the cost of aquarium gravel for that?!? also, if you do plants, you'll need to invest in low-light self-propagating plants. cryptocorynes would probably work well or really anything that uses runners. there are also giant versions of many common plants including crinums (onions), apongetons, and vallisinera. most of the giants have leaves over four feet in length--perfect for a five foot depth.

Dont worry.Whatever you put in it someone will tell you that you are overstocked and to take something back to the lfs!!! :D

having an ecosystem that feeds itself sounds ace.

As for gravel and whatnot, i'm sure with a tank that big you could look into sponsorship...

OMG I just notice it 3500 gallon I thought it was 350gallon. God u r trying to put an huge swiming pool into a tank from??. God is it even possible. So far even the show tank over on my local zoo doesn't have tank big as that. Also for the deco you probably have to stand inside the tank and make the deco after it arrive and imagine the time it takes to fill it up with water. And what filter in the world would feed that tank????????

A custom one?^

Geezze.....I'd donate it to my dads office in trade for being able to aquascape it...

Isn't that 3?

So many options...

 Where on earth did you find this firstly?!?!? How much is it?!?!
Sounds like the perfect Betta tank to me!!!! One Betta...no problems!!!
No seriously, you are hoping your mother in law or someone you secretly hate is going to 'accidently' fall in the tank......... (hears the theme from jaws in the background!!!)

This is going to cost a fortune!! I'd have to build a new house around the fliiping tank!!
You could train scuba divers in a tank that big!!!!! (still hears theme from jaws in head!!!)

Hope you can swim well (continously hearing the theme from jaws in my head now!!! na-na-na-na)

If I hear of a severe and drastic water shortage I'll know why!!

Right.... rays, rays and more rays! HUGE catfish and a few sharks!
Actually....... I'd go reef and go for jellyfish and seahorses as I know they'd have enough room in there plus a few 'nemo-fish!!!!!'
In all seriousness the possibilities are endless I'd probably end up buying more than one so I could cover options!!! Drastic MTS! That is a tank suitable for a betta community though!
You could have an amazing tank there and I'd love to see it up and running....... open it to the general public and start your own public aquarium to help cover the costs!

My suggestion: One single Betta Splendens. :D

Giant rays, turtles, school of sharks (bala or iridescent) maybe some chichlids or bichirs or eels . you posiblities are endless.... hell i'll even live in there if you'd let me!!! can I bring a dog and a tv? hahahaha!
