update.
HC is starting to grow a little...

did a water change today. and everything is pealing. =D just from the co2 in the water. (im adding easycrabo each day but i guess the plants cant use it as quickly as pure co2- hopefully pressurized for xmas =D)

yer it might be changing around when i get time onto a different bit of slate/plastic. also i think i might need to add some more to start with. only problem is my original batch is full of hair algae. so picking out each peace one by one will be tedious but worth it i think =]

any news on the Helferi ? =D

Helferi is growing mate, prob is its not the fastest grower when propagating in pots.

update: i made a new mesh up for the riccia, hopefully it will grow out. (this is for a before and after pic)

update 10 days later

riccia pearling / growing out of mesh.. its growing fast!

HC update... its not growing as fast as the riccia but still some improvement

taken after water change.

real purpose or the use im using it for?

im useing it to hold down the riccia or it floats to the top.
its made for, i dont know i found it, i think its nylon so its inert and safe

aah kl i was just wondering wether it helped it grow or grow upright more but holding it down is gd idea thnx

its nattually a floating plant so it needs to be tied down for a carpet effect

should i extend the HC carpet to under the twig? i was originally going to put riccia there but i now thing continuation of the HC might look better? opinions

brown = wood
white = sand (where there is any)
green= riccia
yellow = HC
blue = micro chain swords
red = Pogostemon helferi (when ps3steveo sells me it, hint hint)
pruple = riccia or HC? which do you think i should do?

i would go with riccia i love the look its got on the left tempted my self they easy to grow?

loving the micro chain swords how tall do they grow?

i dont think they will grow very tall to be honest they look full size to me already. but will look better when they fill up the space a little =] im finding riccia easy to grow... its growing floating in 2 of my tanks fine and attached down in this one. i know it needs light though... i was going to do riccia at first but not im moving more towards HC
