Not sure but I have doubts. Chiefs can be beat if the other team keeps discipline. For some reason other teams try to beat the Chiefs by playing the Chiefs' game instead of their own game. Any time you play according to what the other team does you have already set yourself up to lose. Are the Chiefs the new Patriots
I just see a lot of complaining that they get all the calls and preferential treatment from the zebras. Last week Ravens complained that the receivers toe wasn't out of bounds on the last play, replay showed it was. This week the pass interference call that, if the flag wasn't thrown would have meant the bungals would have won.Not sure but I have doubts. Chiefs can be beat if the other team keeps discipline. In the span of two plays, both right tackle James Hudson III and left tackle Jedrick Wills Jr. suffered injuries that resulted in trips to the locker room. That was a series after right guard Wyatt Teller left with a knee injury, after which the Browns immediately ruled him out of the rest of the game...
Joel Bitonio to left tackle from left guard, and Ethan Pocic from center to left guard. Rookie Zak Zinter filled in for Teller at right guard, while Dawand Jones, apparently benched to open the second half, came back in for Hudson at right tackle.
Sling? I take it that you don't have ESPN....Monday night football.
Chiefs vs Saints....two good teams...Should make for an awesome game to watch. KC favored by 5 points.
I ordered a month of Sling tv so I can watch it. There will be another Chiefs game on Nov 4th also on Monday night. That game will be Chiefs/Buccaneers.
This year I'm rooting for the Chiefs and the 49ers. My team, the Patriots are horrible AGAIN this year. Ever since Brady left, they have had pretty dismal years.
I'll be joining you as to dropping my cable... sort of. Actually I'm waiting for the fiber optics to be laid in my area for Blue Peak. I'll use Roku for a lot but may also subscribe to a low end Blue Peak TV package for specific channels such as ESPN and the Food Network.I do not have cable tv. I dropped it several years ago. I watch via antenna or very occasionally via a streaming service.
There are so many free things to watch via Roku tv, Pluto, Tubi, and many more apps on my Roku.
I just don't get my Browns! They lost to the Giants today when they should not done so. Granted in that they lost three line starters.
Shoot, Joel Bitonio is considered one of the best offensive linemen in the league but he hasn't played tackle in three years.
So, OK, with a devastated offensive line we can sort of excuse the seven sacks but it is obvious they could not protect Watson. Personally I don't like having Watson as QB but this loss was on the coaching, not Watson. With the damage to the line why would you keep trying to pass from the pocket when there is no chance for protection? Even without Chubb you still have an above average rushing attack. RUN THE BALL! When you DO pass don't try to do it from the pocket but on roll outs where the QB gains a bit more time.
Even with all the above the Browns still had opportunities to win in the fourth quarter but here comes the stupid mistakes such as an interception being nullified due to a penalty which ended up giving the Giants a first down which continued the drive which resulted in a Giants' TD. The Browns lost by six. Take away this penalty and the Browns win the game. Stupid mistakes are killing them!
Let's also consider the dropped passes. On the Browns' last drive they went for it on fourth down and Watson threw a perfect pass that hit the receiver on the numbers for a first down fairly deep in Giants' territory... Nope, another dropped ball and a turnover on downs.
I'm beginning to wonder if the Browns have the coaching staff needed to match the talent on the team. It is like they go into a game with a plan and refuse to change regardless of the game situation. I'm not a big fan of Bill Belichick but his biggest asset was the ability to change the game plan if things weren't going right. The Browns' staff drastically seems to be missing this ability.
