2023-2024 NFL Discussion

It's been 32 years since the Lions won a playoff game. I'm not a fan of the Lions but my best friend is a longtime fan as he was born in Detroit so I was rooting for them.

So Dallas and Philly are out in the first round. No huge surprise. As I said a while back, both were much over rated. ;)
I think Philly’s problem lies in its offensive coordinator. After all the team members haven’t changed much since their Super Bowl appearance last season. the OC must go.

The Ravens should knock out the Texans on Saturday. But we do have a history of losing to the weaker team 😡

Seemed to me that, against Tampa, Philly totally forgot how to tackle. ;)

Yeah. True True. But I think by the Tampa game they were a thoroughly demoralized team. They were 10 and 1, and then collapsed. A tragedy if I was a Philly fan.

Ravens won the easy game. On to conference championship and then the SB.
GO RAVENS🥳🤪🤩

GB sure is giving the 49ers a competitive game... can't believe the 49ers are having so much trouble scoring... the missed field goal (blocked) didnt help the 49er's

7 to 6 49ers with 10 minutes left in the 3rd quarter.

i was disappointed that the Packers didn't win. No allegiance there, but San Fran has knocked the Falcons out more times than the Packers have, so there you go. Also, Shanahan left us to go coach SanFran. Good move for him, bad for Falcons.

Rumor mill is hot with talk of Falcons getting Belichick. I think I'd rather have Harbaugh, but I'm not sure. I keep vacillating. Truth is, we won't know until it all happens, but I'll be excited with either hire. We need a big shake-up- no playoffs in 6 years. This past season was supposed to be a breakthrough. "Positionless football" was what Arthur Smith kept talking about. If that means you can't tell which team the QB is playing for and working hard to give away games that should have been (and were close to being) won, then yeah- we had "positionless football."

Arthur Smith started the year very arrogant and intolerant of questions. Then as he started losing, he would fall back on the, "this stuff is hard and you don't understand what we're doing" BS. He talks 90 miles per hour and mumbles at the same time, so it's really hard to even follow what he's saying. He's definitely the smartest guy in the room, though.

Like Jaylach, I have always respected the 49ers. They deserve their win. I hope the Ravens meet the 49ers in the SB. We beat them in the regular season. Of course we will have to wait and see if Ravens are conference champs. Don’t count my guppies.…..😎

Someone on the radio mentioned the other day that the colors for the superbowl this year are Ravens & 49ers colors. Also, he mentioned that for the last several years, the Superbowl colors have matched the teams that are playing. Those colors are decided long before the season is played.

WEIRD. Should we start a Conspiracy Theory forum? o_O

Yippee for the Lions!

Now I hoping for the Bills to win over KC. Nothing personal against the Chiefs, just tired with all the hype they get...
I’d like to see that too. But Buffalo has some significant injuries. Should be an exciting game.
