Alright, I can't get any pics because my friend has the cord for my camera. She should be sending it back reallly soon, but until then all I have is a piece of crap 4 mp camera. All of the pictures are blurry. So... sorry but you'll have to wait.
I'm not sure which one, will try to find it. Yes it should stay that way with co2 because I was recommended to use it if my co2 dropped too much (unless I was recommended wrong). Maybe somebody else can help you before I can find it.
It's baking soda. The site didn't say how much to add though. I'll do 1/4 teaspoon at a time. Will post results.
Also, I think one of my ADFs escaped. I've been slcking on replacing evaporated water, and the top of the CO2 bubble thingymagic was above the water line. The frog could have easily jumped out from there.... I checked the filter and the floor around it, but he could be anywhere! My room's a mess! I'll never find him. I'm pretty sure he's gone, too, because I've taken everything out of the tank twice and haven't found him...
Okay. I'm going to record this to see how much affect Baking soda (BS ) has on the PH of water.
PH of tank water before BS: 6.4
PH of tap water: 6.4
PH of 1/4 teaspoon of BS in 2-1/4 quarts of water: 7.5 (tested 2x)
I'll wait a few minutes then test the tank water again.
Forgot to say this last night -- I tested the water about an hour after the last post and there was no change. I waited another hour and tested again and still no change. So I added another 1/2 teaspoon. I'm going to test again in a minute.
Also, I found the other ADF I have no idea where he was. I inspected each lobelia carnalis in case he was in it, I took everything out of the tank, I checked the filter, I looked under all the hairgrass. Beats me. Oh well, all that matters is he's here.
LIP, Froggy
(live in peace)
Also, Froggy isn't eating. Frogger is, but not Froggy. Frogger eats freeze dried bloodworms.
My PH is up to 7.1! I can now have apple snails. YAYNESS!!! I forgot to add this, but earlier today I added one tablespoon of Baking soda. So... if anyone wants to try this...
I raised my PH from 6.4 to 7.1 by adding: 1 Tablespoon
AND 3/4 Teaspoons
of baking soda.
in a 10g tank.
