Lobelia...that's one of those non-aquatics that would appear to do OK underwater from your pictures!

Alright guys I've rearranged the tank again but I've been sick since monday and haven't posted pics. I'll probably be okay tomarrow so you'll see it updated again.

Yay, update. I rearranged the tank and I really like it how it is now so here's some pics of it now"

One weird thing I notice is that the LC is growing more roots than usual. I guess I'll just let it grow and see how it does. It looks pretty cool, IMO:

These last two show the LC pearling, I especially like the last one, these are soooo cool when I edit them a little.

Hope you like them.

Also, I moved the Dwarf Gourami to my 29g cause he was picking on the hatchets. And two of the hatchets died but I don't think it has anything to do with the DG. The hatchets had no marks on them at all and died two separate ways, one was floating and the other was being eaten by the shrimp. So I think they just didn't acclimate well and were weak.

I also skipped the water change on Tuesday, but all of the levels were fine so that had nothing to do with it.

And, finally, I found a small leak in the tank. It's in the very back to the right of the heater, and it's at the bottom of the black seal stuff. It was just dripping but I needed to fix it so I put some kind of silicone sealant on the back (outside). The label said not for use on aquariums, but it's all I have, so I used it. It's only a little bit on the outside, and it worked, so I don't think it'll cause a problem. I hope.

But in general, everything looks good. :good:

Hey, I'm down to three hatchets now. I don't know why they're dieing levels are all fine. Also, I need someone to move this to the Journals part.

They are very sensitive to water quality, could be something that you aren't testing for, my aunt's all died off for no reason, they are sensitive fish.

Nice looking tank.

TY, atmmachine for the compliments. As for the hatchets, that's what I'm assuming. It's been two weeks now and there's three left. In a few more weeks I'll see about getting more, if these three are still there. If not... any suggestions? I'm thinking some kind of very small schooling fish. Or some kind of fish that will definitely school.

I am going away next week and I've shown my mom exactly how to feed the fish and told her when to turn the lights on and off. Hopefully when I come back no fish will be dead or anything. I'm doing a water change today because she said she won't do that.

:shout: I'm BAAAAAAAAAAACCCKKKK! :shout:
Everything seems fine, no deaths, levels are perfect, it's all great! Except the pest snails.
Everything's grown, the lobelia has filled in a lot in just a week. It's pretty green too. Hardly any algae.
