sorry to hear what you been going through buddy, hope all works out ok for you, How is your sight after the strokes? my little sister had a stroke a few years ago and has now a condtion which leaves her left side vision in both eyes, diff to exsplian, like if you had your fingers over your eyes, then turned to the right top of your face,then the two right fingers, thats the vision, but no one would know and she likes it that way, except obviously dvla..no driving

the size difference is massive and many fish could eat the new pearl if they wanteded

if you mix all your fish with small fish it shouldnt be a problem 3 days now and still fine the little pup is eating great

like i said before i would leave any new pups in the main tank when they are born this sort of proves my case

the little pup looks lost in the tank and if it was just small pups like that in the tank i could prob keep 50

its just going to be the big tank and a sofa at the other end

i have been buying a few fish for this tank already

stocking will be

1 x chili red arowana
3 x p14 stingrays
2 x scobina stingrays i have some holding for me
1 x siamese tiger fish
1 x tigrinse cat
20 x tinfoil barbs
1 x lince cat
1 x l56 xanto pleco

and maybe a fly river turtle that Cane is looking after for me at the mo but i not sure how this will get on with the rays but the last owner had it with discus and shrimp so it maybe ok

this tank is going to be fully loaded with a full Aquatronica system

which will monitor every parameter and even send me a text message if i have a power cut or other problem

Your tank is so big you might as well add another 20 tinfoil barbs.

I'm a bit concerned i have had the bronze aro a week and its still not feeding and when i put it in the tank it just sank to the bottom

i still had room in the sump so just added another 75l of K1

The sump is full now with 350l of media not not including sponges

Just a couple of questions regarding the Filteration,
Do you have the HMA just running straight into the tank? Does the the water then go into the sump which has an overflow on it which leads to the drain? i tried clicking on the link tot he HMA yu have but it isnt on that site anymore.
Is this something similar http/www.devotedly-discus.co.uk/acatalog/info_DD_HMA_80C.html i was thinking of one for both my 100g and my new 280ish g tanks.
Do you have any change in tempreture or is it that small due to the large volume of water?
And last but least how have you got your sump set out media wise? I brought 3 big thick foam pads , 3 really thin pads for fine particles and about 50litre of what likes cut pipes meant for pond filters, i was thinking of the large filter pads then the fine ones then the pipe things. Probs going to need more so qas curious what you have and ill add some to mine
