Yes, I saw some very large amanos in another tank, with berried females, they were 4 or 5 times the size of amanos I got, these were about 2 or 3 inches, maybe slightly larger.

I liked them though

They are so cute! I thought the endler was actually in the bag until I read what you wrote :p I hope they do well.

This is so amazing !
I've just upgraded from a 15gal - 60ltrs, I had a 75w heater in it and it would over heat it. So just watch out for that.
My heater was set to 20℃ and it would heat it up to 24℃
I now habe it in my 125 ltr and Uta keeping the Temperature Level

Thank you :)

Yes, some heaters may well do overheat water if its over capacity for smaller tanks, I found out this for myself with a smaller 5 gal tank and had a 50w heater in that at was set at minimum 20C and yet temp was around 27 - 28C. Changed it for a 25w heater, much better and more consistent.

This particular 100w heater in the 10 gal is good and I have 2 thermometers in the tank, one digital and one glass one, at opposite ends of the tank, both thermometers shows just under 24C and has been like this for 5 months or so :)

A good tip and good advice ;)

Thermometers are always a must have ;)

Which reminds me I need to get new batteries for my digital

Can't wait to see more from this :D

I enjoyed reading this! Makes me miss my 10gl I had in Ohio. It started out with RCS and assassins, then I added Endler's and pygmy corys. IT was such a fun little tank for the office.

lol

Yes, it IS a fun little tank that requires very little effort really due to this being a low tech set up.

Water changes are a doddle on such a small tank

Update time, my 10 gal tank now has a neighbour!

I bought a new 100 litre / 25 gal tank (36" x 12" x 15") and is next to this tank in corner of lounge

Not set up yet, had to go into a bit of trouble to create the space and cabinet for this tank, well worth it i think....

So maybe a new journal is going to have to be made for this

No idea what gonna put in it yet, don't even have the filter or lights yet for this tank.....

Only just found this thread! Have really enjoyed reading your journal, Charlie!

Thank you Mamashack, always real nice to hear complimentary comments :)

Looks great Charlie! Looking forward to your well detailed and picture heavy twenty five gallon journal. And don't forget the well detailedness and picture heaviness either. :p

Yay! That's so exciting. Can't wait to see some updates on the new tank. I'm sure your 10g is much happier now with a friend :p

awesome can't wait for you to get the new tank up and running

I think you could squeeze a 4ft tank on that cabinet ;)
Any ideas what will go in it yet?  Or have you already started a journal?

Got serious cabinet envy here, Ch4rlie! I love that dark cabinet!
