i had a few of my guppies live and breed and raise fry in a 70-71 degreeF 10gl. and they did fine

black widow? or black phantom? they are 2 different species i have both except red phantom yes they both seem to be hardy i havent had them very long tho

i walked into the room today and looked at the tank and see my male chasing my huge female rosy barb around the tank, he is like pushing(?) on her underside with his head, spinning around her, kind of trying to get her still....are they spawning? i jsut did a water change cuz i am treating ich...

i think it really depends on the temp. the number of fry and your tank in general, will they fit into the mouths of other fish? Will the other fish pick on them? will they have somewhere to hide? just a few general questions u can ask yourself before making the decision... hope this helps...

ok i have 3 rosy barbs in my 20gl. (longfinned) and i have 1 male 2 females and my male keeps picking on both females! and they are freaking out at the bottom of the tank, can i put the male in a container for an hour or a little less just to let the females calm down? thanks, i need help asap

what other fish do u have in the tank with them>? or just the gouramies? maybe(i dont know if this works for gouramies) u can get dithers? or some sort of distraction fish? i dont have any gouramies so sorry if it sounds stupid :lol:

Well since it is a male guppy he is probably just a little lonley :fun:, maybe get some females??? just a suggestion or u can get a 2.5gl. for himself or sumthing...? my guppies are fine with all my fish probably just because they have eachother to distract them! :P ~Hope this helps~ ~JoBodude~

ok im kinda getting back more into livebearers just like watching my guppies grow even more :D so i was thinking: 10gl. lots of java (fern and moss)(heavily planted) gravel w/ some river stones piled up bubbler heater hood ect ect... AND drumroll plz... 5 endlers and 3-4 mosquito...

ok well my 10gl. is un-stocked right now, i guess i can give up the whole betta duplex idea lol, but would only 3 rosy barbs fit in a 10gl.? cuz i think they are rough playing with my other fish and they are mostly smaller then they are, so i was thinking maybe 3 rosy barbs and some bottom...

its just a regular 20 not high not long its one of those started kits *by the way those are like really cheap cuz they come with everything! nice!!!! just tellin ya* but yah i might just take the rosies to the 30gl. and raise maybe like 1-2 white clouds sumthin like that i will keep ya posted...
