im sorry to say if you dont offer fry live food , dont breed bettas :)

it might work, but don't always think that Pearls will be a quiet and peaceful fish all the time, they can become a bit territorial and they can grow up to 13cm. ;)

yeh they move them to feel around, one of my pearls has one split and looks like she has 3 ventrals :D

:) their ventral fins are so long because in the wild the water they live in is murky with low visability, so their long ventrals are used for feeling around

depends of your tank size and the type of fish you house with your three spot gourami, if you have just one thats usually a problem as they focus almost entirely on attacking your other fish. If your tank is to small the 2 dwarfs are constantly being in his territory and they cannot escape. it's...

if you swirl the egg yolk it may possibly be accepted as all fry of almost every type of fish will only take food that is moving. Grounded pellets or any dary food are a bad indea at such a young stage as they will not be able to digest them as their internal organs have not developed yet. :/

i agree , you should get the kissers a new home. but don't forget kissers can potentially reach up to 30cm and three spot gouramis can reach up to 13cm. :)

if he's a young betta he might out grow his egg eating habit with spawning experience :D

pearl's don't naturally come from brackish water, so i don't think it's a good idea. :blink:

yes, i agree 4 in a 15g isn't a very good idea, the three spot can reach 13cm ;)

this is a problem that usually concerns the "three spot gourami" Trichogaster Trichopterus, having him in his own tank may be a good idea, but i think yiour tank has a large amount of fish and this can also cause the aggression as more fish are in one area so he can't keep all fish out of his...

im a big fan or pearls and all gouramis but i like pearls the best, the males in spawning colours are brillant, the fish in the background is a three spot gourami, the honey variety. :)

does she have a little white spot on her ovipostor, that indicates she is carrying eggs :)

i'm not 100% sure but ive heard paradise fish will fight with bettas..... :huh:

not to sure on this one ??????, possibly stress. if thier colour seems to fade they may be stressed. maybe a better descripition of whats happening may help with the ansewer. :nod:

feed him a variety of foods like: live, frozen brineshirmp, pellets, bloodwroms, tubifex worms, cooked peas etc. :)
