my quick opinion i think in my local P@H they just dont have the training, and so just sell you fish judging by whats infront of them, not thinking the fish will grow loads, or breed like crazy! they sold me 1 x common plec, 3 x silver sharks and 1 x red tailed black shark for a 30 litre tank...

i had a similar setup with blue spot gouramis instead of goldens, and my kribs and the albinno's, i had no problems, but my rtbs is quite placid in comparison with a lot of peoples so.................

i love mine i have 2 dwarfs and a one eyed op!

i dont know much about them except they are more commonly known a the Southern mouthbrooder - you may find more info looking up that name

i used to keep guppies, and it sounded to me iike she dropped her fry - hence the loss of stomach but we over stressed by the ordeal of birthing, hence the recovery when isolated and having a bit of r&r i could be wrong, but experience makes me think this is the answer glad she is ok now

according to that online test thingy i am at 78% stock for my fish, and my lfs agreed so i dont think it is a stocking thing all my water tests are fine, there is loads of air n the tank - have 2 airstones and a bubbling volcano thing my only idea as maybe it was the black widows picking on...

we have a fluval 205 filter ours does that when it has an airlock, so you need to pump it loads (and i mean loads) to push the air out, basically until it stops blowing bubbles into the tank when you pump it hope this helps

plus the weight of the tank itself of course
