thanks everyone, i was gonna get rid of the black widows as they seem to harras my male guppies. i did used to have 6 or eight tetras but i lost a few, that was a while back now. i learned to get adult ones as they dont get into the filter!

I have a 30l tank and am wondering if i have too many fish! i have 2 black widow tetras (one white, one black and white) 1 3 neon tetras (2 orange, 1 blue) 2 male guppies 3 female guppies 2 maybe 1 cherry shrimp, very hard to spot 2 ghost shrimp cheers

i reckon it was ill from the shop as i dont normally use them. i also added mouth rot medicine in the tank incase the other 3 have it!

i used the api master test kit, it isnt out of date and i always read the instructions and follow them. i havn't added anything in the water! its normally 0ppm

did a nitrate test today and it came back nearly clear! anyone no what this is about? did a 50% water change as my nitrite was quite high :unsure:

all they can check is the times calls and text were made/sent and recieved. plus the phone holders details if its been registered!

Just done a tap water test and here are my results. PH 7.2 High range PH 7.4 Ammoinia 0ppm Nitrite 0ppm Nitrate 5.0ppm it was in between the 0ppm and the 5.0ppm but the colour was stronger towards the 5.0ppm

I have 2 cherry shrimp in my tank with a siamese fighting fish and they just ignore each other. I did read somewhere that its hit and miss, some will eat the shrimp as they are a delicacy to the fish and some just leave them alone like mine has!
