Congrats I currently have 10 fry off a platty. They are two weeks old. 9 of them in my fry tank and number 10 is so evasive I've left him in the main tank. Every now and then I see him when he is feeling brave. Need to think of a name for him I think lol Steve

Plants won't cycle your tank. You need to add ammonia so that the bacteria which will keep your fish healthy can feed and grow. There's a brilliant guide as to how you cycle your tank in the beginners resource centre. I would strongly advise against adding fish until you have read and followed...
