Incorrect info there! For a start the "exit" tube is midway along the bottom of the body, and the Swimbladder extends to the base of the caudal fin. It is because the swimbladder extends along the length of the body, that other "Deformed" fish like fancy goldfish suffer from swimbladder...

Pretty standard VT's really. What concerns me more, is the fact that they will ship to the EU without a transhipper, which is completely illegal unless the buyer has an import license. Any fish coming into the UK without proper paperwork can be seized and destroyed, and the buyer fined.

It is not illegal in the UK to live feed mice/rats to reptiles. It is illegal to sell any mammal for the purpose of live feeding though, so if you breed your own mice etc you can legally feed them to your reptile as long as its not in public. There are many many pictures detailing the damage...

Sorry, but you cant seriously be considering shipping that betta? It is obviously in need of proper care and would be very stressed out already. Shipping will only stress it even more, and likely to lead to infection setting in due to the stress. If you are going to purchase fish like this...

I used the report button to report an abusive post about 4 days ago. The poster told another member to "shut their mouth"...........the post is still there!!! I was also under the impression that "self-policing" was frowned upon by Mods/Admin?

I'm not quite sure why you believe the colouring has any bearing on sex, as it doesn't and Males get stress stripes too. You said that initially it was believed to be a male but is now definately female, what changed your mind? The only reason I am telling you, is just incase you ever think...

It is deffo a male. That first picture of it in its new tank is classic Male PK flaring, big beard, long ventrils, trapezoid shaped anal fin and classi male dorsal:)
