The eggs turned out to be not fertilized and the male ate every last one of them. :sick: I think im gonna start conditioning my crowntails, and let the pair rest from this disaster. :sad:

Actually its visible in that picture lol, its exactly where the poop comes out.

The female betta has a white tube that sticks out her anal area. The white tube is where the eggs come out of. :fun: She does have long fins that i dont usually see on a female though.

Yea he is very attentive towards the eggs, they dont even hit the ground before he scoops it up and puts it back into the nest.

Should there be a change in the size of the eggs after like 15 hours or so? Sorry im new to this, how long does it take for the eggs to start changing in the way they look?

Ok im getting tired of this, i have a betta that seems to be ripping up his tail. Everytime the tail starts to heal quite a bit, the next time i look BAM! its ripped up again. He's done this 5 times already, does anyone know how i can stop him from doing that to himself? -_-

Yea so my female betta has laid eggs and made herself an unfertilized bubble nest of eggs lol. I guess she doesnt want to wait for the male to build his own. :P

I had this one ghost shrimp left with my picky eating betta, and he would swim with his little feet to the top and steal my bettas pellet of food when i would drop one in. My betta didn't like that, and had himself quite a feast. :lol:

No problem, also i used to use spring water but it was somehow making my tank cloudy so i switched to freshwater and drops of conditioner to get rid of the harmful chemicals in the tap water. That seems to have helped the cloudiness in my tank, im not sure if your having that same problem. lol :)

My fish who has finrot is in a 5 gallon filtered tank, I do 50% water changes once a week, and vacuum the gravel.

The black shelled snail would match because im gonna change my gravel to black so my bettas colors would stick out more. I got tired of the mint green gravel i had, it makes the tank look dirty. Ill probably also get ghost shrimp but bigger ones so its a lil harder for them to eat lol. :P
