I have found an orange worm that I'm assuming is a bristl worm in the tank, there seems to be conflicting advice on whether they are harmful to fishes(seahorses in my case) though, but I'm guessing it's better out than in so could anyone advise on the best way of getting rid of it please?

Well I don't want to sound like I'm bragging but I'd like to take full credit for this thread taking off again, due to me badgering Kelwoo about her seahorses is preperation fo me getting mine.... she's back! :good:

Apart from a couple of shrimp would 4 turbo snails be enough for a 94L tank? seems quite a small number to me.

Here are pics of the tank I've scaped the rocks so they cover the inlets on the left hand side of the tank. The top right piece of rock looks like it used to have lots of polyps attached, shame they aren't still there.

As a quick aside before I get the pics up I'd like to ask a queston about cuc. The guys at the LFs recommended 4 Tubro Snails and a couple of Blood Shrimp would be adequate for my tank (94l) Obviously he's got alot more expirience than I have but 4 snails and 2 shrimp doesn't seem like a great...

I just poured mine in :P Question from me now, I put quite a bit in and the sand has covered the bottom two pieces of live rock. will this be detrimental to the biological filtration? THh sand is live sand so will the filtration provided by that compensate for the covered two pieces of rock?

It's the 1st time I've used the tank. I've had it over a year but had other things to sort out around the house before I could get it setup and give it the attention it will deserve. I've got pics of it as I've been setting it up and I'll get those posted later today.

Thanks guys :) YesI meant gorgonians, I've rang the guy at Simply Seahorses to make sure what I planned was going to be seahorse friendly and he said the Sea Whips were compatable with the Seahorses.

I didn't do anything with the BiOrb, I scrapped it and got a traditional shaped tank. I got the idea form Jennybugs and if I wanted to ressurect the BiOrb I'd do that.

well I ask on here about the purigen as the guy at the LFS said just stick the purigen sachet in every 6 months, and they are on sale for £5, as opposed to the skimmers they had for around £30 for a tank my size(94 ltr), surely they'd want the £30 sale?
